The technology

Fiberdom has created a unique supermaterial from FSC-certified wood fibers. This novel material is 100% plastic-free, high-performance, strong, formable and durable, lightweight and cost-effective, recyclable and home-compostable. Fiberdom’s patented technology starts with FSC-certified pulp and paperboard and converts it into Duranova®, a durable, mouldable, and plastic-free material — with home-compostable cutlery as the first commercial product, now sold across major Finnish retailers.
