The technology

The revolutionary 3D-formable technology Stretch Paper® and Papermorphosis® was invented by the brilliant minds at Gruppo X. Licensed and commercialised as Billerud FibreForm® to offer a low-carbon alternative to plastic packaging trays. The unique material helps brands on their journey towards sustainable packaging — 100% renewable, recyclable, and biodegradable. Made of 100% virgin fibres, with high formability enabling unique shapes and up to ten times deeper embossing compared to traditional papers.
