Manatee Biomaterials is awarded multiple grants
Futurelab & Partners' portfolio company Manatee Biomaterial transforms seaweed side streams into industrial-scale technical materials using minimal energy and chemicals.
Futurelab & Partners' portfolio company Manatee Biomaterial transforms seaweed side streams into industrial-scale technical materials using minimal energy and chemicals. The venture is backed by Nordic Innovation, Formas and the Swedish Energy Agency, through the MOBI, Seaweed Materials Initiative and Allgae & Kelptex programmes.
Project partners include Axfoundation, KTH, LTH, Chalmers Industriteknik, RISE, Arkio, Snøhetta, Volvo, Houdini and Filippa K. Manatee supplies transparent, sustainable materials directly to innovators across packaging, durables and textiles.
