Manatee Biomaterials - a collaboration between Nordic SeaFarm and FutureLab & Partners since 2023 to make ocean biomaterials available at scale for circular product and packaging systems.
Enabling future applications from ocean based material sources, Manatee Biomaterials' starting point is seaweeds cultivated in Scandinavian waters, creating a raw material source that is transparent, constant and reliable, farmed sustainably and processed effectively and clean.
Our mission is to translate seaweed into materials using technologies that use low energy and utilize the full material, creating solutions that are circular throughout.
