Yangi enters the US market

Futurelab & Partners' first portfolio company Yangi is bringing its Cellera® dry-forming technology to U.S. converters, as tariffs and anti-dumping duties on imported molded fiber packaging widen the domestic supply gap.

Futurelab & Partners' first portfolio company Yangi is bringing its Cellera® dry-forming technology to U.S. converters, as tariffs and anti-dumping duties on imported molded fiber packaging widen the domestic supply gap. Cellera uses 90–99% less process water than wet-molding, cuts cycle times to 4.3 seconds, and consumes 55–75% less electricity — a fast, resource-efficient alternative for quick-serve foodservice (QSR) brands and their converters.

"Converters and brands are seeking solutions combining high operational performance with improved resource efficiency," said Hanna Rüdel, CCO. "Cellera is commissioned and running at a production site today," added founder Anna Altner.

‍

Yangi will showcase the technology at PACK EXPO International in Chicago, October 18–21.
