Press Release

Please welcome FutureLab & Partners.
Digitalist Group Plc establishes a new company to accelerate the commercialization of emerging new technology into circular systems.

We are facing mounting global challenges, and we need to empower creative and novel solutions to overcome these challenges. Traditionally, it has taken 5 to 10 years to implement new commercially viable solutions into the market. We no longer have that luxury of time.

Over the last three years, FutureLab has been incubated within the Brand development agency Grow part of Digitalist Group Plc, tasked with finding a business model that can accelerate the commercial adoption of sustainable and circular solutions. We are now expanding on that opportunity with the launch of FutureLab & Partners within Digitalist Group PIc.

The sustainability and circular economy goals of industries and brands have created a strong market demand for responsible, sustainable & circular solutions. “Take Make Waste” must be translated urgently into “Systems that are regenerative and restorative by Design”. The purpose of FutureLab & Partners is to support & amplify this increasing market pull. FutureLab & Partners serves as an accelerator, with the goal of bringing new technologies to market faster, by lowering the risks and increasing the value for a circular economy.

“The FutureLab model is effective in creating the right conditions for true innovation focusing on new circular systems”, says Liselotte Tingvall, CEO of FutureLab & Partners. “The engagement from global brands to meet new technologies have increased greatly in the last few years. We create the playing field where partners can collaborate successfully and create sustainable business value.”

Starting January 1, 2023, The FutureLab business unit within Grow is separated into its own company FutureLab & Partners, including the core team and our growing network of partners ranging from material innovation startups to global brands.

Grow will continue to strengthen its core consulting business within brand positioning, concept creation, content management, corporate identity and packaging design.

“With FutureLab & Partners we add a company to the group with a very interesting new business model. It is a complimentary business to the brand, design, digital consulting and our SaaS offering.” says Magnus Leijonborg, CEO of Digitalist Group and Grow.
